Precautions for vacuum plastic application

1. The moisture content of the board should be controlled at 8-12%. The surface of the board should be flat, clean, with clear grooves and obvious back-cut grooves.

2. Mix the main agent and curing agent according to the proportion, and stir thoroughly for 3-5 minutes until they are uniform. After the glue is made, please use it up within 30 minutes. If it becomes thick, clumping, or granular, please stop using it and put it aside. (The higher the indoor temperature, the shorter the time).

3. The diameter of the spray gun is 1.5-2.0mm; the air pressure is 3-4kgf/cm2, the distance between the spray gun nozzle and the sprayed surface is 150-20%mm, and the spray gun moves in a straight line to make the thickness of the adhesive uniform.

4. Drying time for dry compound: 30 minutes at 25℃, 20 minutes at 35℃ to dry completely.

5. The sheet needs to be air-tightened before blistering and lightly polished if necessary.

6. Pad: The pad area must be smaller than the workpiece, the pad thickness must be greater than the workpiece thickness, and the workpiece spacing must be greater than 2 times (workpiece height + pad height)

7. Temperature of substrate, environment and adhesive: 15-35℃ PVC softening temperature: 80-110℃, surface tension of leather material: 34-36 dynes

8. Equipment parameters: 

Heating temperature: 100-180℃ (the thicker the leather, the higher the temperature)

Heating time: 90-240 seconds (longer if the skin is thick, the groove is deep, and the plate is thick)

Cooling time: 10-30 seconds (longer if the temperature is low and the heating temperature is high)

9. After the workpiece comes out of the blister machine, it must be trimmed until the temperature drops to no more than 10℃ above room temperature. After unloading, it should be left for a period of time (more than 24 hours in winter and more than 18 hours in summer) before entering the next processing procedure. If testing is required, please test it after 3 days to ensure the accuracy of the test results.

Safe storage precautions

1. The storage period is 6 months at 8-35°C. The storage period will be shortened if the room temperature rises. The storage temperature in winter should not be lower than 8°C. The first-in-first-out principle should be followed when using.

2. Do not allow impurities to enter the adhesive, especially oily substances.

3. Tools used with glue should be cleaned promptly. When hands or skin come into contact with glue, please wash them with water promptly.

After the blister product is cooled, it has higher peel strength and good weather resistance after maintenance.
